We are currently looking for a passionate Maintenance Assistant to join the team here at Bankside Hotel - Voted one of the 'Best Places to Work Hospitality' 3 years in a row.  Sitting consistently in the top tier of all the hotels in London on Trip Advisor, Bankside Hotel is a social hub for anyone, guest or local, with a passion for culture, art and food.  If this sounds like something you'd like to get involved with we would love to hear from you!  

MAIN SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

· To provide maintenance cover at the hotel while on shift.

· To perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks in hotel.

· Deliver exceptional customer service whilst carrying out duties.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Carry out preventative checks on hotel equipment.

· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to water systems.

· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to electrical systems.

· Carry out fault finding and minor repairs to air conditioning systems.

· Carry out minor repairs to wall coverings.

· Carry out general repairs as required.

· Maintain accurate records of work completed.

· Assist supervisor/manager in carrying out tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

· No formal qualifications needed.

· Punctual
